Meet the Instructor

Hi, I’m Justin Khanna 👋

Welcome! I’ll be supporting you every step of the way in Total Station Domination.

My goal is to provide direct and personal stories to add context to the lessons from nearly 15 years of industry experience. More about my background 👇

Total Station Domination was born out of frustration after 10+ years in the industry.

I'm not your average culinary instructor - and I’m obsessed with helping folks like you grow and progress.

After earning a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY, I've embarked on a journey fueled by an insatiable hunger for growth and learning.

I plunged head-first into completing my externship at Thomas Keller’s acclaimed 3 Michelin-starred Per Se in NYC.

Post-graduation, I secured a coveted Chef-de-Partie role at a Chicago restaurant that would later achieve 3 Michelin Stars.

I continued my ascent at The French Laundry, refining my skills along the way.

The lessons I teach in Total Station Domination (TSD) is not textbook knowledge.

You can look up the “mother sauces” and how to brunoise for free.

Instead, you’ll get kitchen-tested skills I've developed through rigorous pattern recognition, self-experimentation, and extensive deep dives into performance psychology.

I wasn't handed a structured curriculum; I forged my path through classic (and often painful) trial and error.

Leveraging these new skills, I ventured to the West coast of Norway to Lysverket and skyrocketed from Chef-de-Partie to Sous Chef in just 10 months, ultimately managing the kitchen team for over two years as Executive Sous Chef.

I used the lessons I teach in this program to build a high-performing team in that kitchen, mentoring my line cooks in a positive and supportive way.

I’ve since had the pleasure to continue that trend, teaching students from over 14 countries inside TSD.
